Who we are
Shawarma House, 11a Market Street, Portadown, BT62 3JY ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal information you give us when you order on shportadown.co.uk.

What we collect
- Your details: name, mobile number, and email if you give it.
- Delivery address and postcode for delivery orders.
- Your orders: what you ordered, when, the total, notes you add (for example allergies or a door code) and how you paid.
- Your account, if you create one: your email, saved address and order history. Your password is stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody, including us, can read it.
- Basic technical information: your internet address (IP), used to protect the site from abuse.
We never see or store your card details. Card payments are made on the secure payment page of Stripe, our payment provider.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send you marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run online ordering, and only what they need:
- Stripe, to take card payments securely.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Turso, which stores our order database.
- postcodes.io, which receives your postcode only, to check whether we deliver to you.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the website's lettering and may see your IP address.
Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they protect it with the safeguards UK law requires.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie, only when you sign in, to keep you logged in. Your basket is saved in your own browser so it isn't lost if you close the page. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
- Order records: 6 years, as UK tax law requires.
- Accounts: until you ask us to delete yours.
- Internet addresses used for abuse protection: deleted within about an hour.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information (we may need to keep order records for tax reasons);
- stop using your information in a particular way.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Keeping your data safe
The whole site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised staff can open the shop's order system, and every price is checked by our server.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
